A late harvest wine made from overripe, shrivelled and noble grapes with elegant acidity. Flavours typical of wine coming from volcanic soils of Tokaj Wine Region. Medium light straw yellow. Intensive aromas of ripe and dried fruits with botrytis and elegant barrel notes. Deep, full-bodied sip of fruit compote and dried apricot leading into a harmonious finish.

 

Food pairing:

• it’s again an aperitif-type wine because of the good acidity, could be very good paired with some scallop carpaccio on toast just drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, or some fried oysters
• Sicilian canollo
• baba au rhum
• could be excellent instead of a tea in an afternoon tea
